Super Eagles Climb Six Places in FIFA’s Recent Rankings
Super Eagles’ 1-0 win olover Mali and the 3-1 victory over Luxembourg have helped Nigeria moving up six places in the latest FIFA rankings.
In the latest ranking released by FIFA yesterday, Nigeria was placed on the 61st spot, up from its former 67th position in the previous ranking. Thereby moving to 12th position in the continent leaving Algeria as the highest ranked team in Africa.
Argentina was rated as the world best team, followed by Belgium, Colombia, Germany, Chile, Spain, Brazil, Portugal and Uruguay.
